Sig Luscher’s story starts in the 1860s with Sigmund Luscher, a Swiss immigrant who brought his brewing craft to Frankfort and helped build a real Kentucky beer legacy. The name went quiet for a long time, then came back to life in 2018 when the family legacy was revived in downtown Frankfort, right across from the original location. The new spot also sits on ground once tied to E.H. Taylor, which feels about as Kentucky as it gets.

Sig is a lager house at heart. The flagship pilsner is built on a simple philosophy. If you need a PhD in hops to enjoy it, somebody did it wrong.
